Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why does it say the monsters are too small to attack? A: There is a minimum number of monsters needed in order to attack them. If the monsters do not number that certain amount, you will not be able to attack them. To see this number, simply click here. Q: All 10 monsters appeared in one coven, why? A: While it is possible that you are just so unlucky that all of the mobs of monsters have landed in your coven, it is highly more likely that Geoff just implemented them, and he had to put them somewhere in the game. He happened to choose your coven, you should feel special :-p. Q: Why do I have negative units? A: More than likely you got possessed, and the possession spell is supposed to take 10% of each unit type to "watch over" the possessed character. Sometimes it will cause you to go into negative units. Either build some of those units, or when you make attacks just send -X units along. Q: How do I steal magic items? A: Stealing magic items can only be activated by the leadership of a clan. When it is activated, there will be a link near the top of the screen in the "Clan Forums". It should say something like, "We are at war with thisclan." Click the clan name and it will bring up a list of empires in that clan. Next to each empire, if your clan leadership chose "Steal Magic Items" as an option, you will see a link which reads, "Steal Magic Items." Click that link to go to a screen where you have to first spy on the empire to view magic items, then a list of the items will show up. Click whatever magic item you wish to steal, and thief missions will be spent. Q: How did I lose negative units? A: You likely had a healer/shaman in the battle, and you had a cecil's root, and those two factors combined with the units natural damage resilience, which made for negative losses. Q: What's the difference between training a character for 10 hours versus 24 hours? A: OK, the exp is doled out in units, it's calculated based on your level, 10 hours training is 10 units of exp which is usually enough for a level, 24 hour training for double cost give you 25 units of exp, usually enough for 2 levels. It should be noted, though, that 24 hour training will not always give you two levels, and to our knowledge, 10 hour training has not failed to give one level. Q: If a plane is crashing into the ground and I run to the back of the plane right before it hits the ground, then jump out the back of the plane, will I die? And what if an elevator is falling far down very quickly, but I jump right before it hits the ground, will I still be severley injured or killed? A: Ok, one question at a time. Yes you will still die when that plane crashes, unless you are very very lucky. If the air plane is flying at 450 mph and your running speed, at a 100 meter sprint, is even 20 miles per hour, you are still falling at 430 miles per hour. While you MIGHT make a small difference, it wont be a life saving difference. The same laws of physics apply to falling in an elevator. If it's falling at 9.8m/sec/sec, and you have fallen already 100 meters, you will have only been falling for four seconds and your speed is now 39.2 meters in one second. Unless in less than a second you can jump over 40 meters high... you're still going to hit the ground very hard. Q: If I'm being killed, can I put my account into deletion and then resign up wtih my same email? A: If you go under 250 land and want to signup again you can reuse your email/username/password and even empire name and leader name. If you're at 250 land or over and you want to resignup put your account in cancel mode and you can resignup using same info. Q: I'm a CL and we're at war. If I die before I am able to transfer the clan, what will happen? A: If you die and you lead a Clan, leadership will automatically transfer to ViceCL, WG, Diplomat, Barkeep and finally VillageIdiot if he's all that's left. Q: If I die while I'm away from the game. Can I log in one last time to see my messages? A: You can read your inbox after you die! You won't be able to get to any of the other screens of the game. Q: Does the attack bonus work against Monsters? A: No it doesnt!
