Characters
War Generals and Chieftans lead your armies in battle. Heros and Dark Knights fight on offense and defense, and can go on missions with your spies and thieves.
All other characters are masters of your class. These characters can work as War Generals and you can send them into battle, or you can use them as spell casters. If you have chosen Demonologist, you will have demons. If you have chosen Druid, you will have druids and so on.
After the first few days of attacking out of newbie mode, you will want to start watching how many characters you send out. Each character provides defense and offense. If you send out all of your characters, you’re sending out a good portion of your defense.
View “II Class” subtopic under Signing Up for additional information regarding Classes. For the spells available for each class, view the Help Menu.
Lag Time
When you cast spells, whether it is a friendly spell or an offensive spell against another kingdom, that character will still be home on defense. It will have a lag time. Lag times means that for a given amount of time, you cannot utilize that character. The amount of time it is lagged depends on the particular spell. For example: A Druid can cast expansion on itself and will have a 10 hour lag time. That same druid could have cast Harvest on itself or on a covenmate and it would have a 12 hour lag time.
Leveling and Experience
There are 55 levels to a character. You start out small – each character
starts out between level 1 and 3. You gain levels by training and using your
characters. You have to meet a certain amount of experience to be granted a
new level. Each new level brings more offensive and defensive points to your
character. The higher level your character is, the stronger it is. You can
gain experience and levels from getting attacked by other kingdoms and monsters,
spelling and getting spelled, and thieving/spying with your dark knight or
hero. Even though damaging spells and attacks can somewhat hinder a kingdom,
the experience they give you makes up for some of that.
You can view how much experience a character has and how much experience it
will need to get to the next level by looking at this screen.
Naming Your Characters
On this page, you can name your characters. To name them, type the name
that you want to give a specific Character in the text box and then click the “Name” button
at the top of the screen. When people spy on you or if you end up with characters
in the scores, the names you give them will appear.
Assigned Magic Items
Certain Magic Items need to be assigned to characters. On this page, you will see what items you have assigned to which characters. All assigned magic items will show up in bold print under the character experience information.
Bonuses and Offensive/Defensive Points All of the bonuses that each character possesses will be listed under them as well as their offensive and defensive points. This is a great way to determine how strong each character is with the magic items you have them equipped with.
