Military units that you draft pull directly from your population. There is no need to train recruits or soldiers like in other games.

This is why it’s important to always keep a close eye on your population! Zero population means zero military units to draft! Troops require housing.

There is a “Max” link to train maximum of any given type of military. It will spell all of your gold. Troops units have different requirements to train. They can require Iron, Wood and Adamite in addition to Gold.

Each military unit has different offense and defensive points. You can view the different offensive and defensive points per military unit by accessing this page. The second column shows you the attack and defense points for each type of military unit. Your style of play will determine which type of military unit you would like to go with.

It’s important to have a good amount of military when you come out of newbie mode. You need to not only be able to defend your kingdom, but also be able to attack right out of newbie mode without having to leave yourself open or vulnerable to attacks.
