When signing up, there are several things you need to consider. DO NOT get overwhelmed by the choices. The game has a lot of options and a variety of ways to build your empire.

The first important decisions you will make are which Race, Class, and Terrain you will have as your platform. All of them have advantages and disadvantages. Each class has different spells that you can acquire. Each race and terrain have their own bonuses and penalties.

Find the race, class, and terrain that will fit your style. Maybe you want to be a friendly, helpful kingdom… be a druid and you can throw harvest spells and expansion scrolls to your covenmates! Maybe you want to be a demon and kick the living crap out of your opponents military with opengate spells! Maybe you want to be the most powerful and feared person in a war… then choose necromancer! It’s all about your playing style and what you want to do with your empire. The possibilities are endless. =)

The next three subtopics will give more specific descriptions of your three sign-up decisions. IMPORTANT!! Not ALL races and classes will go together. It is best to pick your Class first, and then view the options of Race and Terrain that you can have with that class.

**********Passcodes!!!**********

If you want to be in a group with your friends, have one of your friends sign up. They can then obtain three passcodes that are found under the “Settings” option on the left navigational menu bar. The three passcodes can be given to the other people in your group so that you will be in the same coven together.

Limitations: There is a Coven fill of 8 in place on each coven. That basically means that the coven can hold up to 8 players however, the coven will take in an additional 2 kingdoms (bringing the total up to 10) if they enter the coven WITH a passcode. If the coven has 8, random sign ups will not appear in that coven. If your friend as a passcode to enter your coven but your coven is already at 10, they will not be able to join the coven. Also, if you are in a clan with the maximum of 25% players allowed per clan, that will block someone from using your passcode. If you buy a premium account, you will receive one extra passcode and it will be available even if you use a code from a friend, effectively allowing you to stack a coven!!!! =)
