Buildings Make the Empire What are these building things and why are they in the game? Buildings are everything to your Empire. The right combination of buildings can make or break an empire. The following list should give you a good idea of what you'll need. The suggested percentages posted here are for a generic mining empire. Your own style will determine what you build. Some people play with 0 thieves and 0 mines, some people rely almost completely on mining for income... Empire bonuses play a huge role in how you'll specialize... Everyone plays this a little differently. Houses:(20-30%) Provide living space for 200 population (including scholars and military). Lumber Mills:(5-10%) Produce 150 Lumber per hour. Farms:(5-15%) Produce 500 Food per hour (Population&Military eat 1 food per hour). Scout Towers:(15-20%) Produce 1 Scout per hour. Scouts are used to scout on other empires. Scout Towers are your primary defense against scout actions and thieving actions Thieves' Dens:(10-20%) Produce 1 Thief per hour. Thieves are used to rob other empires. Mines:(20-35%) Produce 200 Gold and 40 Iron per hour. Adamite Mines:(0-5%) Produce Adamite (200 per hour). Not all Empires use Adamite, make sure you really need it!
